I met Randi years ago. First as a Weight Watchers leader. Then she hired me to be a receptionist for Weight Watchers 13 years ago. So, when she decided to go into coaching as a business, I had to give it a try!
I have been to all of Randi's meditation sessions. After the first session I noticed I slept better. I was in the middle of a recurrence of Lymes, my pain lessened and I slept! A miracle!!! After each session I take away something new, a new idea to help relax my mind and body at home also. I would highly recommend giving Randi’s meditation a try!
I also am attending the “series”. It’s interesting digging deep down to the root of the problems and deeper into what you can do to make a change for the better. There is no judgment! We all want the best for each other and ourselves. I’m applying the techniques to my weight loss journey as well as life!
Life is a journey- so many experiences both positive and negative shape us into who we are.
Randi was my favorite Weight Watcher instructor - her meetings were so real and had a family feeling .
When she mentioned she was starting her own business Elevate to Excellence- I knew I wanted to be part of this very special group.
Along with the self development classes there is also meditation classes. She ties these classes together.
Learning techniques on how to live a more fulfilling life makes me look so forward to the future!
When I got the invite to Randi's new venture afer years of a very successful career at Weight Watchers, I was happy to support her. I was a former employee too. We knew the key to success was in the group support. This group of people have become a group of friends where we have topics that we dig deep and others where we touch on a lighter topic. We have learned that success is not all about weight loss but feeling good about yourself, both mentally and physically. We learn about what motivates us, and learn to understand our strengths, weaknesses and successes. These sessions have helped me start organizing my home and my life. I now make sure I take time for me and what makes me happy. When you do this you learn to love yourself more and lessen your self doubt. You really need to come to what I like to call " the after club" and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
Randi is a naturally relatable coach. She is someone who actively listens and offers attainable suggestions. She is willing to share her own experiences without overshadowing your needs. Randi is warm and encouraging; eager to support and guide you toward achieving your goals. Having looked to Randi for personal goal attainment, she was a cheerleader when I needed it the most and a sympathetic ear when I struggled. Randi Gorton is someone you want as a coach!
Randi was my territory manager at WW. As a member of her team, I always knew I had a strong advocate within the organization, someone who truly cared about my future and approached all of our interactions with the utmost compassion and professionalism. She challenged me to confront some of my own unconscious assumptions by always encouraging me to “assume positive intent”. This approach helped me to be more thoughtful and measured in my responses, cultivated a deeper active listener skill-set, and allowed me to develop into a more effective health and wellness coach.
Randi embodies the characteristics of an amazing coach. She inspires you to feel you can accomplish your goals . She leads yet recognizes you are in charge of your direction . She provides real life solutions with flexibility and support for you to choose how you will utilize them . Her past experience as a coach has been so dynamic that her following feel there is no other coach for them . Anyone would be lucky to have Randi as their coach as she will be with you until you achieve your goals and beyond .
I had the pleasure of having Randi as my manager for eight years. Randi's energy and enthusiasm for encouraging people to be the best they can be is genuine. She has a knack for cultivating talent and growth in those she manages. Most importantly, she knows how to convey feedback in a way that is not only actionable but inspiring and motivating as well. I credit Randi with boosting my professional growth, and I often look to the way she coached and managed her team as an example to follow. Randi truly wants to help people rise and knows the best ways to make it a reality.
Early one Saturday morning over fifteen years ago, I walked into yet another Weight Watcher’s meeting. I was hoping to find the motivation I needed to achieve success in my weight loss journey. (I had been to several other studios and had sat through many meetings. I found other meetings to be lacking in what I needed. This time was different! )
This leader was engaging! She enthusiastically embodied the program and she knew her members. It was clear that she took individual interests in every person sitting in one of those green seats. This leader was Randi Gorton. I found my home! Randi is devoted, positive, motivating, goal oriented and more than anything; Randi is passionate. What a combination of tenets! Randi is a rare find in a coach. She is dedicated to her craft. She is genuine and skilled at bringing about personal change. I am successful because of Randi’s coaching!
Randi and I met in 2016, I was newly engaged and motivated to lose 17 pounds before my wedding. I'd been to Weight Watchers for years, with 2 very successful stints, both directly related to having extraordinary, engaging leaders. Having recently moved out of Nassau county, I was skeptical that way out in Suffolk County, I'd find someone to help keep me motivated like I had in NYC. Enter, Randi. Randi was, hands down, the most impactful Weight Watchers Leader I have ever had. She was consistent, successful herself, and also very real. She was not a superwoman, she was no stick figure, she battled the same demons we all did at Weight Watchers. She was real, relatable, and honest. She never made anyone feel invalid with their doubts of the program or themselves. She found a way to relate to each member individually, even amongst an always jam packed meeting room. Randi's energy, optimism, and truly unique ability to make you both feel like part of a group and the only person in the room was astounding. Week after week, she made me and everyone feel welcome, important, and seen. Losing weight is an emotional journey with lots of obstacles and chances to fail. Finding a leader who would keep me engaged and motivated was such a blessing. In 2018, my husband and I moved off of Long Island, for Michigan. We had a lot of heartfelt goodbyes with our coworkers, friends, family, and of course the Weight Watchers Group. I kid you not, the tears that flowed at Weight Watchers, saying goodbye, were the biggest and hardest as I felt truly connected to the leadership of Randi and the community she helped each of us build within our very special, Saturday Morning Group.
